your ORIGINAL US Official or Diplomatic passport valid
for further
6 months, and must contain two blank facing visa pages, PLUS A photocopy

1 Visa Application Form,
completed and signed. (Must be copied front-and-back on the same sheet of paper)

1 recent passport-type photographs

Visa Cover Letter issued by the U.S. Department of State

1 Completed
itinerary form (This form prints in ADOBE PDF format,
on TDS letterhead and addressed to the "Consulate of the Russian
Federation).

application will be checked and hand carried to the Russian
Federation Consulate; normal processing time is approximately
one week.

Document Systems is a recommended visa service of the
Consulate of the Russian Federation in San Francisco.

The above visa requirements apply only to the Russian
Consualte in San Francisco. Other Russian Consulates
may require the actual passport to be forwarded.

The visa is issued for a single entry only, for the
cities specifically mentioned on the invitation, and
the specified dates up to a maximum of 30 days.

Visa Free Transit of Russia is Suspended effective January
2000. A visa is required for any transit through Russia.

If you are traveling to Tajikhistan,
the invitation must be confirmed through the Tajikh
Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

If the visa support invitation has been sent by Interior
Ministry telex directly to the Russian Consular office
in Washington DC, please note that no processing begins
on the application until the Embassy confirms receipt.
