REQUIREMENTS FOR NON-U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER CHINA
Effective April 01 2008, the Co>nsulate General of the Peoples Republic of China in New York will issue a visa to non-US citizens for a single entry visa only, valid for entry for three months from the date of issue of the visa, for a non-extendable stay of up to 30 days. No Double Entry or Multiple Entries visas will be considered without an ORIGINAL Visa Notification from the PRC Ministry of Foreign Affairs This information also applies to U.S. Permanent Residents and all other non-U.S. citizens
Tourist
Visa Requirements:
- Submit
national passport /valid at least 6 months beyond stay
- 1 Visa
Application Form, fully completed and
signed
- 1 Passport-type
photograph required
- An applicant who was born in China is required to submit his /her Chinese passport, or copy of its personal information page, or last foreign passport with a Chinese visa when he/she applies for a Chinese visa with a new foreign passport. A Chinese child born in US shall provide the original and copy of his/her bith certificate for the first time of applying for a visa.
- Notarized photocopy
of Alien Registration Card (Green Card) -or- evidence of
legal status in USA (valid visa plus I-94 in passport)
- Copy of round-trip air tickets, or travel agency/airline itinerary and hotel confirmation required if you are requesting same-day service.

of The Peoples Republic of China, Visa Section, New York, N.Y. ",
explaining the purpose of the trip, and guaranteeing
financial support for the applicant
while in the Peoples Republic of China, and return transportation.

invitation from a company or organization in PR China (not
Hong Kong or Macau).
The invitation must
be issued by a Chinese Government Ministry or authorized
government
office, or Regional office of Chinese Foreign Economic Relations
and Trade Commission, and include their 4-digit reference
number.
Employment
"Z" Visa Requirements:
- Submit

explaining the purpose of the trip, and guaranteeing
financial support and return transportation
for the applicant while in the Peoples Republic of China
- An official
ORIGINAL Visa Notification issued by a Chinese Government Agency -or-
- a government-authorized
company/organization Z visa notification -or-
- an Employment
License issued by the Chinese Labor Ministry, are required.
The "Z" visa is usually issued valid for entry for three months
from the issue date, for a stay of 30 days from the date of
entry. It may be extended locally by your employer in China.

Visa
Information
- The China
tourist or business visa is usually valid for three months
from date of issue, for length of stay not to exceed 30 days.
Application for a touristic or business stay exceeding 30 days is not
usually granted.
If Applications require 24 hours Processing please send to
TDS using only Fedex Overnight Service
- Passport
must have at least six months remaining validity and contain
at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued.
